Building a Solid Foundation & Jobsite Leaders
As a signatory contractor with the Central Midwest Carpenters’, you have access to our collaborative training programs at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters’ International Training Center in Las Vegas.
The UBC’s Foreman Training Program
This program highlights the importance of jobsite leadership and management. Participants learn to balance planning, communication and production during a project. The course is designed for UBC members who have worked as a foreman and are sponsored by a supporting contractor. Click here to learn more.
The UBC’s Collaborative Leadership Program
This program is designed for owners, superintendents, project managers and foremen. It’s a collaborative course with a focus on a partnership culture.
The three day course features:
• A discussion with a UBC District Vice-President or General President
• DiSC profile assessment to understand your leadership style
• Tour of the International Training Center
• Skills to work with generational differences
• Skills to address leadership challenges
• Collaborative & partnership skills
• Action Plan to implement what you learned
