Samsung and Stellantis are combing on a $3.1 billion battery plant in Kokomo, IN. The Indiana plant will have initial production capacity of 23 gigawatts hours that will eventually go up to 33. Production is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025. Construction is to begin immediately. At the peak we will have 500-600 carpenters on this project.

Notre Dame has many projects on the books. Well into the hundreds of millions in construction will be going on. At peak we will have 250-300 Carpenters on campus doing concrete, studs/drywall, flooring and general trades work. We will have several contractors on campus to perform the work for the 132,000 sq. ft. museum, it should be complete in the fall of 2023.

A $286 million renovation to the GE Electric campus is a re-use of the historic buildings. The existing structures will be used for innovation, education, residential, commercial, community and hospitality. Weigand Construction is the general contractor. At peak, 250 Carpenters for all scopes of work will be needed.
